Renovation

In 2018, the renovation of the Szent Mihály church was announced, which is the implementation of a larger project. It was financed by local governments and the 2014-2020 Regional Operational Program.

A significant number of believers and many ecclesiastical and secular dignitaries took part in the rededication of the baroque monument church dedicated to the protection of the Archangel Saint Michael on the hill between Kézdialmás and Lemhény. The ceremony, which took place in the presence of Archbishop Dr. Gergely Kovács, retired bishop József Tamás, and clergy from various settlements in Szeklerland, was the crowning of a process that began nearly a decade ago and a took three-year restoration.
